2012 F25 outer taillight not working after replacing LED board

Hi,

I had one inner and outer taillight not working on my X3 and got new driver boards of EBay the other day. I started with the outer taillight but it didn’t work, I tried with both boards but it didn’t make a difference. Moved on to the inner light and it started working immediately with the new board in place so I guess it’s safe to assume the boards themself are OK.
Now, what would the next step be? Replace the assembly the board sits in? https://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts...-08059313.html Wiring? Something else?
I’ve tried to research but couldn’t find any useful information.

Has anyone seen anyone with similar issues? Losing my mind over here lol

Diagnose using a voltmeter and schematic.

Have you tried swapping over the good OEM boards from the other side of the car, to see if it made a difference? I'm thinking you just have a connection issue.

I used the Russian boards from ebay. Aside from the original brake lamps going out suspiciously at the same time, everything worked fine.

Thanks guys, I found that the issue was the bulb carrier board.
Now Im fighting with the dealership to buy me one.
It is only $40 but they promised the car was flawless and I have been dealing with this since December..
