If anyone has followed my posts, you might know how much I hate chrome. I find it more classy and stealth to replace some of it with black, which will also match the Shadowline trim.

So here's what I did.

I replaced the front yellow turn signal bulbs with the stealth ones that look silver, but blink orange. Our cars take 7507 bulbs For the front turn signals, AKA PY21W bulbs, AKA 1056 bulbs. NOT 1156 bulbs.

I put black vinyl overlay on the headlights to cover the reflectors.

And I just replaced the grills with glossy black ones I got from ECS Tuning.

I put together a few guides I found, in the attached PDF. The one thing was that for the life of me, I could not get at the 3 bottom clips on the grills, and almost tore up my wrist in doing so. I have no idea how others have been able to do it. So I came up with this J shaped tool, which I made out of a small copper tube. And then the 3 clips came undone in like 30 seconds!

PS If you're wondering, I've got 12 mm spacers on the front and 20 mm's on the rear.
