Heated Steering wheel Retrofit problem!

2016 X4 28i M sport

Running into ground issues.

My two ideas.

-Low battery issue has been tripping the system.
-New clock spring is needed for the heated steering retrofit.

Current Parts:
New steering wheel
Column switch and plastic cover.

No, ended up selling the vehicle shortly after.

A few other threads indicate that you need the coordinating clock spring as well to make the heated steering wheel work and then code it all.

Makes sense I do remember coming across that.
