It is not available to play from the NatGeo web site. They did two, an older one in 2008 based on the Z4 and the newer one in 2011 based on the X3. If you search and include all of the terms and "download", the returns from the search should yield several sites from which you can download it.

Because I recorded it using Windows Media Center, I have the complete program as a file, but it is too big to email. If you can't locate and download it through a search, I will copy my file to a location from which you can download but only when I have free time and bandwidth to complete the task.

Wow, that would be cool! I Just bought a 28i and new to the bmw world. Never ventured into this world before and heard the new plant is very high high tech. There has got to be a simple way to get this episode?

on a side note, i hope uTorrent gets a stable version to last a while. thanks for this, i saw it when it ran the first time, but i wanted to show it to my dad.

A couple of things that I found interesting:
1. Bmw installs the doors with lasers and robots then unbolt and reinstall the doors by hand.
2. They 'stockpile' painted bodies then why wouldn't BMW do batch painting of the same colours?
3. I don't see why BMW can't build me a diesel seeing as they stockpile 1200 transmissions and 800 engines in the production line...

thanks for posting the link. i was at the factory a month ago, and got a tour of the x5 side. but even on the tour you don't get to see everything that's illustrated here. i'd recommend people watch the z4 factory show, though, to see something about how the engines are built. that isn't touched on at all in this. but it was great fun, and gives you some sense of what you're paying for. thanks again.
