What caused this?

2014 X3 parked in front of my house. It had not been driven for 10 hours or so. As I was going to bed I noticed lights flashing on my window shades. I looked out to see all the interior lights on, and all exterior lights on and flashing. But no alarm. What condition causes all the lights to come on and flash but without an alarm? I've never seen that before.

The flashing is usually a sign that the alarm was set off at some point. The siren will only sound for a short period, but the lights will continue to flash without the siren.

Could someone have bumped the car and set off the tilt sensor? Do you have a window cracked open or the sunroof where something could have set off the interior motion sensor? How’s your battery? If it’s the original battery it could be nearing the end of its life.
