Just had my '13 X3 in the shop getting turbo oil lines replaced.

Had been noticing oil leaking since I brought it home and crawled under to investigate. I pulled off the plastic cover (which was covered in oil) and these 2 items dropped out when the cover came down.

Does anyone know what these might be from? I have the check eng light on as well throwing a P0171. Related?

One thing I did find when looking was a similar bolt nearly backed all the way out of what I thought to be the front differential (?). There was oil everywhere around that bolt. I tightened that back in but wasn't able to see where that other bolt and this half-ball rubber thing goes.

Any ideas? Related to my P0171 error?
