Question One remote key doesn't work well - does it need to be reset?

One of my key is having problems opening the doors remotely, so many times I end up opening the doors mechanically with the lock next to the handle. Even when the doors can't be unlocked remotely, the remote signal to open the trunk seems to work.

I searched the problem but can't find the exact same scenario. I've found the procedure to reset both keys. Is it what I need to do?

If it opens the trunk sounds like a dying microswitch in the remote.
