Is this shopping bag hook in the X3? Not sure where to find it?

There's one on each side. They're about 2" tall and 1/2" wide. The hooks swivel, so normally the flat side shows.

If memory serves this came up earlier as a difference in the NA (or at least US) models.

In NA there's one hook on each side. I don't know about UK.

Just taken delivery of a new one (a 2012 build). Mine has one on each side. I know 'cos I've used them both already.

OK, another.

Using the key fob ya can open the power trunk (boot) and while the trunk is opening you can stop then trunk partially open then press the open button and continue opening the trunk to the set height.

Agree the shopping bag hooks are ingenious and most useful. The fold-able storage box is also very useful. My favorite is holding my finger on the exterior door handle lock button to roll up all the windows and close the sun roof.

Just so no one thinks I'm mistaking the power port for the bag hook! I also have the 12v power outlet on the right hand side.....but I also have a separate fold out bag hook on the right as well as one on the left.

Yes, this feature is most desired by car jackers.

Also, for a nifty thrill, throw the shifter to the left into sport mode while parked and then turn the engine off...see what happens. Cool huh?

There is a 1 piece rear floor plastic mat that extends over the hump. Almost missed this item, you search online for the wider front floor mat. Very usefully all year round especially with young kids and blends so nicely, you don't even notice the hump was protected.

That is actually like me, I usually requested to bring home the manual before the car has actually arrived/ready to be delivered. For this X3, though, i didn't read it thouroughly enough

It was a nice surprise when finding out my car is equipped with hill assist feature. When braking on an incline, the car will still hold the brake for a few seconds when the brake pedal is released, giving plenty of time to accelerate without rolling backwards. (auto hold is off)

Interesting. My 2013 35i definitely has two, and obviously the 12v power port as well (see pics below of each side). I wonder why they would leave one out on some. Do you also have the premium package, which includes the storage package?

I didn't get the $350 storage package so that might explain things... Dumb move on my part as I didn't realize all the goodies for the "very" reasonable $350.
