VDC - SE v M-Sport
Simple question really, are the springs different?
Does the M-Sport have sports suspension with VDC and the SE have standard suspension with VDC? Or is it the same spec springs for all models with VDC. Looking at the 35d in particular.

In the US it's the same because the M Sport comes with option 225. If you don't have option 225, they'd may be different. Look for option 226, the Sport Suspension to see if the springs are different.
RealOEM doesn't list the springs unfortunately, the struts are the same across the SE and M Sport with EDC according to it though.

I've gone from a pre-LCI 30D MSport (std Sport suspension) to an LCI 35D with VDC. The suspension may have been tweaked for the LCI so it's hard to make a valid comparison but all I can say is that VDC is a lot better, it's never "jiggly", it's firm but never jiggly or slightly crashy - which the std Sport suspension could be on poor roads.

Well mine's a 2012 (late - probably an MY13 car) so not LCI. I have driven one already and found it just having that extra control when pushing on.
Basically just right for me as I can switch back when the family is in the car.
