FYI Transaxel Malfunction Warning

I've had two of these warnings appear on the iDrive display while driving on an incline with my 2011 X3 28i within 17K miles.

Here's BMW's answer/fix:
Cause: AT001 Miscellaneous Automatic Transmission.
Repair/Parts: 17035 Software error in the vehicle, 11 03 12 defect code 11 41 09 29 00
Labor: Op 00 00 006 and 61 00 730 as per Bulletin, Updated complete vehicle software using ISTA 2.47.3. Clear faults and road test to verify repair.

What were the warning messages? Did you go for repair?

The display screen on the iDrive showed the the car frame with a line through the transaxel and the cursor was on Ok to drive at a moderate speed.
Since this was the second time, first due to the tire pressure being 9lb and this warning appeared instead of the TPMS, I brought it in and they ran the Service Bulliten software update for this problem.
In fact the iDrive is now improved, I notice I can use the Office setting now with my iPhone, go figure, plus split screen options changed for me and the online menu is different. Haven't fully checked everything out yet because just had this serviced yesterday.
