First post, first BMW, first question

Over forty years ago I met the woman who was to become my wife in Las Vegas where she was teaching and I was a USAF pilot. She drove a 67 Mustang and I had a 67 Corvette, 427 with three carburetors. Along the way we stupidly sold those cars. At the time she informed me that she hoped to someday own a BMW and a red Mustang convertible. She just got her BMW built to her specifications.

It was our understanding that the dynamic handling package was not included as part of any other package and that it would not be on the car even though I thought it would be a nice option. I was surprised to find normal and sport buttons on the console.

When we review the window sticker we see no reference to dynamic driving control. Is it included in one of the packages noted on the sticker or was it possibly inadvertently added? Or some other possibility? We paid $49,670, $750 above invoice for the vehicle.

i believe it's part of sport activity package.
i've test drove SAP x3 35i and it had the same controls.
maybe part of sport auto tranny?

That was my initial thought but when I "build" the car at the BMW site I have to add the dynamic handling package to get the buttons to appear in the picture.

It is NOT part of the Sport Activity Package for sure.

It seems the only way it was included was by mistake and it doesn't happen often, but it appears as though a mistake was made in your favor.

Nice one.

I guess I'm wrong then but if you order the sport act package without the dynamic handling option, what do the buttons do?

They adjust the shift points and power steering settings.

So you get this if you order the Sport Activity Package??? Is this for a 35i only or does it apply to the 28i, too? Also, can you post the link to your thread. I couldn't locate it. Thanks.

Apparently that thread only existed in my mind. I could have sworn I had already shared that info with the F25 community, but it looks like I forgot to. There is the link. Watch out, the ink is still fresh.

Hi Aardvark, congrats with your first BMW!

Could you perhaps post some pics of the interior? I'd love to see some more pics of the beige interior

Many thanks!

Is it just me, or does Aardvark's window sticker look like it was printed on 900 a year old parchment?

Does his window sticker allow BMW to limit the power of the monarchy? King John will never sign!

Parchment? I think that is what I learned to write on in elementary school. Thanks to all for your responses. From the other thread posted by MA78 I have a much better understanding of the system. Below is the display I get when I configure the Sport mode. I understand that on my vehicle I should not be able to adjust the suspension but the display seems to indicate that some suspension components are included in the process. Comments.

Color balance - BMW is too cheap to use parchment.

Better?
