AIR FILTER REPLACE/INSTALL N52N (28i)

I tried to follow a few other posts on different forums on replacing the air filter on a 2011 28i w/ N52N engine with no luck. Here's how I did it. If you screw up your car following my explanation it's your responsibility.

I did NOT unclip the air filter muffler box before removing.

First thing I did was disconnect the air mass sensor (can remove completely by unscrewing the two torx screws) and then disconnected the rear air duct.

Second, I disconnected the two clip connects on the wiring harness to the rear of the muffler.

There is a suspension screw cover to the outside of muffler that is just a cover and lifts out. Then I slid the whole muffler box straight up and out. Unclipped and replace with new filter.

To reinstall, the muffler has a "Lip" on the front air duct opening that fits into the "female" portion on the front air duct. I then slid the whole box down and reinstalled the air mass sensor connector, rear air duct and wire harness clips.
