What freebies can i request my sales person?

I am expecting to pick my new X3 from dealer in mid April and wondering what freebies I can request?
Is it too much to ask for floor mats and mud flaps?

What freebies did you negotiate when you made your order?

I did not negotiate any freebies. I ordered the vehicle over phone, did not visit the dealer yet.

Personally for items such as mudflaps I always include that as part of the sale negotiation, I also request a a full tank of fuel. It's unlikely you will get anything much and you've lost the bargaining power that you had while concluding the sale. That being said there would be no harm in trying, even stuff like golf bags or key rings?

Well, I think you missed your opportunity for any real leverage.

I've never been charged for the use of the dealer's pen to write my check.

I did not get the thought while booking the vehicle. I know now its too late to ask.

It would be good if they give at least floor mats.

Mats are included as standard in the UK. Are you talking about all weather mats?
I was given a free BMW X3 key ring which I've never used. Can't remember how much fuel was in it- probably third of a tank.
I negotiated hard on the finance deal so asking for anything else post sale would seem rude (but maybe that's English reserve!).

Great!!! I did not know that carpet floor mats are free with X3's in US. That's is all I was looking for.
My dealer is 40 miles away from my place and they were OK to deliver the vehicle to the local dealer for pick up. I thought of visiting the dealer just for the freebies. now i can skip...

I was given nothing. Sales guy was a bit scattered. Carpeted mats did come with the car for no extra charge.

I got rubber floor mats also for free. I like the fit and they did a good job this past Winter.

Yeah, me thinks they saw lollipops on his cheeks as he probably paid $10,000 to much.

Rules Law: The size, quantity, and value of trinkets a dealer gives you is directly proportionate to the profit the dealer made on your vehicle purchase. In short: when they shower you with gifts, it is because you got showered.

Nope - I know the sales manager and bought the vehicle directly through him.

I thought all new cars come with a full tank of gas? At least I've always picked up my new vehicles with full tanks.
