Need to find circuit with power only when engine is on.
I'm having problems with my new amps conflicting with the comfort access system antennas. To resolve this, I need to find a fused circuit (preferably in the right trunk fuse box) that does not get power until the engine is started.
Any idea what fuse or electrical circuit item does not power up when the doors are opened (and waits until the engine starts), and then loses power as soon as the engine is shut off (and before you exit the car)? |

To clarify, I need to find a spot for the remote-on wire. Right now, the amp goes on when the door is unlocked, and conflicts with the comfort access signal. I need to delay the amp turn on until the engine is started, and then have it go off when the engine is stopped.

Car Toys found a circuit behind the sound system on my X3. I would be very careful about taping into any circuit with the CanBus. On my K1600GTL I had to build 3 separate circuits to keep the CanBus happy. Everything is controlled with relays and fused.
