3.0d m sport delivery dates

I ordered my x3 in march and was originaly told I would have to wait until the end of november for delivery. Then after what happened in Japan my date was actually brought forward to be built in week 22 and delivery in week 28.

After reading about delays I am almost frightened to contact dealer to see if it is still on schedule, I think I will go with the assumption that if there was a delay that he would surely contact me.

Has anyone in uk taken delivery of 3.0d m sport and if so pleeease let us know what like it is.

Bmw uk website has two 3.0d m sports for sale and under tech spec it states both have 306hp and 600NM of torque, can this be right? Will all 3.0d m sports have this?

The 30d M sport has the same engine as the 30d SE which is 258bhp and max torque 560Nm. You can see the tech specs on the car configurator engine tab - click the i next to the engine

There is at least one UK delivered 30d SE on this forum with some feedback here

Cheers for that sfax, 258hp is ample with 560NM, but must admit I did get a little excited, well a lot actually when I saw 306hp and 600NM on bmw uk site. My wife wanted me to send it back!!!

I have a 30d Msport on order too. The lease company originally quoted mid-December delivery but this week the dealer has stated that because it's a 30d, delivery is now brought forward, expected towards the end of September

I placed my order on 1st June and was told it'll be March before it arrives.
I'll call Tayside and ask the question.
Have any of you guys had a ref/build number so you can follow the car as she is build?

I asked my dealer for the order number for my car so that I could watch it being built online, but he told me that this service was only available for american customers. Bummer!
