F26 End of Production
One of the M-forums had the 2017 Production Schedule for BMW. Our F26 (both variants) EOP is listed as March 2017. I am guessing this means LCI time for the current flavors? Hoping LCI translates in to LED or even AMOLE tail lights

If i understand wel the document, they speak about the 2017 models, where the End Of Production is in march 2017.
After this date, there will be ... a 2018 X4, and it will be the same as today, up to the next version in 2018 or 19. |

No new tech no LCI... just 2018... eop only means building of that Model Year.
I read that article... production starts back back up most likely right after for the x4... Other models getting lci are starting back up in july |

Sorry - I don't understand how this could be done:-end of MY-17 X3 and X4 is March.
Then body assembly will be rebuilt to G01 with completely new architecture including carbon fibre- and aluminium parts. Will take one-two months. In my world it is not possible to have one body assembly producing two completely different animals. Currently producing X3/X4 is to 90% same bodyparts/architecture. I would anticipate Job 1 for G01 Aug 1 and Job 1 for G02 around New Year. |

Agree. That is how I read it too (and in line with previous year's production schedule announcements).
