The wife is picking up a 2011 X3 35i and will need winters. Looking online for a good used deal I found these, looks like they were probably from an X6, before booking an actual appt to try them on, anyone here know first hand whether they would fit?

Rim size - 8.5*18 offset is 48
Tire Size 255/55/18

Those rims might be ok but they will be 12mm closer to the strut, which is probably close to rubbing. Those tires would definitely not work, the spedo error is almost 5% as the tires are about 35mm more in diameter.

The rims would probably work if you ran a 12mm spacer all around.
