Top things you've had coded in your cars

Hi, curious what are the most popular options people have gone with. Can you post them up, along with whether your car's a 28 or 35?

I got this PDF from a vendor I asked as to the things they can do, and am toying with which ones I should tackle...

One downside though with this coding stuff is that if you get your software updated by the dealer, it wipes out the coding. The vendor of course suggested I ask my dealer to never update my car's software, but I'm not a fan of that, as many things over the years have been fixed by software updates, so I tend to think there's more good than not coming from them, maybe I'm wrong on that...

I haven't had my 2015 35i coded yet but when I had my 2012 351 coded - I had BMW Apps coded plus the following:

ability to fold the side mirrors with both comfort access and key from the outside.
ability to close the hatch with my fob
ability to watch DVDs with the car in motion even though I didn't request it and never used it

some of the items on that list were already coded from the factory - such as closing the windows and panoramic roof with the key and comfort access, etc.

I miss all these and will prob code my 2015 with these soon.

Coding is easy with using bimmercode app. But like you say it gets all wiped out if your software gets updated. And then you get to do it all over again.

Ultimately, my favorite 'code' is Variable Lighting Distribution but it requires Vehicle order coding to remove the 'decode'.
Things I've strictly done with Bimmercode though.. My favorite thing is the High Beam Assistant. It's silly that it's not standard when KAFAS is installed. Little wonky without having the button on the stalk but works as expected when enabled. Side mirrors folding on long press lock on key or CA is nice too. Removing all the disclaimers is also great.

You can apply one of the automatically saved backups! Mine has them logged all the way back to my first coding session.

Warnings, tire pressure temp/pressure, auto fold mirrors when locking, close trunk with fob or button, corner marker lights off, DVD in motion, more things displayed in HUD, etc. There is a lot you can do depending on the year and options you have. Also enabled XM radio, but had that remotely coded, not bimmercode.

On the same line - What's the best app that lets you code your favorite coding?

Disable stop start - an absolute must imo.
Disable headlight washers- otherwise fluid runs out quick
Increase sensitivity of auto wipers
Make alarm locking sound louder
Horn when locking car that is running
Allow dvd to play while driving
Increase indicator flashes when lightly flicking the stalk
