Drive train malfunction message ( 2015 X35 )

i get a message from time to time : ' drive train malfunction, drive moderately ', often when accelerating

2015 x-3 35 drives just fine though and exhibits no performance issues

haven't been to dealer yet but any understanding out there what causes this ?

diagnosis: upon inspection there was a cracked hose which was trimmed to remove that section and reattached . messages gone

Without reading the error code(s) it could be a hundred different things
