Android Carplay 8.8 LCD installed
https://www.ebay.com/itm/304332820884
I purchased one of these and installed it on my 2013 X3, I didn't realize mine was a CIC type connector. It wasn't too hard to install, overall it's ok unit. It's definitely not perfect, the system can be sluggish if you try to use Android apps but just keeping it on Carplay is better. However it often feels slow to connect as the system boots up taking about 30secs. It also tends to drain the car battery more but I've not had any start up problems but just getting warnings that car battery was drained. |

The one linked to is for a CIC system. I believe a 2015 would have the NBT system.
