Definitely a contender for my wife's next vehicle. Great MPG!

Did she say 50.4 MPG out of that 2.0d? Or did I hear her wrong?

Properly impressive stuff. If this engine can move the heavy x3 to 62 in 8.5 seconds, imagine what it could do in a 3, or even a 1 series. A ~3200 lb 1er could probably do the run to 62 in about 6.5 seconds while returning 40 mpg in mixed driving. Who can argue with that?

One of the cars I would consider buying if I was over 35 and had two kids and a wife. Really a grat choice for families in any way, with the MPG it gets, even better.

Now, if they go just a tad bigger (2.5 - 3Liter) and add the turbos... N54 type power with less problem and more torque, lighter and better MPG? now who could argue with THAT? |
