Leaky trans on a 2007 X3 3.0si

Just drops found under car, traced back to the trans. Inclined to have it topped of regularly and live with it. Sounds like this trans is a weak point on this model. Have others had this problem? What did you do?

Where is it leaking from? If it is Bell housing (front of transmission), get it fixed. It is front input shaft seal that will eventually fail translating into major $$$$$$$.. It is not cheap to get it fixed, biut torque converter is a lot more.

If it is around transmission pan, than it can be an easy DIY.
