how many speakers does 28i have?

I have my 28i driving for 3 weeks. This is the first BMW I have. My wife complains about the audio quality a luxury car has, especially a BMW fancy car. I checked online the 28i should have 12 speakers. I post here to confirm if it's true.

That'd be just 1 in my car or it might as well be - if the MIL is speaking you can forget the other 12!

Anyone knows where those 12 speakers are located? I only can find 2 speakers on each door, which is totally 8.

2 in each door, 2 subwoofers under front seats and 2 on the center of the dashboard = 12 speakers

She'd need to know how to use a computer, so I think I'm pretty safe

This is a funny thread...

Dash: 1 hi 1 mid 2 total
doors: 1 hi 1 mid 4 total
dash: 1 hi 1 mid 2 total
under seats: 1 mid base (it's not a sub) 2 total

total is 12.

However...if you get the upgraded audio there are additional speakers behind the d-pilars right in back of the rear seats...if you look you'll see what appear to be vents but they are for the additional speakers that get added with the audio upgrade. There is 1 hi and 1 mid in each d-pilar: 4 total...in the upgraded audio get you 16 speakers in total.

I researched this thing to death and this is definitely right... and in fact look at the below link..shows you everything.

Sorry Mole7374...a lot of people do it, but it is BASS, not base! Nothing personal, just tried of seeing this. Bass output for premium sound is measuring below 30Hz. Not bad for a woofer.
