2017 driveline issues
hey guys iam looking at buying a 2017 x28i, it has 97000km on it or 60000miles on it.... they were asking 32000 and we settled on 25300 or 26000 out the door. When we were there sat to pick it up he showed me the 150 pt inspection that is required here by law and it says all is ok except a leak in the rear driver side shaft and a driver side front control arm is loose. so my question is this... is this a known problem with these vehicles?. Is this an indication that he bagged the crap out of the suv? Should I be looking for other issues now? he quoted me 660 to fix the shaft and I asked him is it the seal leaking or the bearing in the diff?? he didn't know. imagine that.. I can fix the front suspension my self, but the back end is not my thing. Can someone please advise.. I have to give him an answer by Tuesday.
