BMW 2013 front conversion from pre facelift to facelift

Hi Guys,

I've just put my deposit down for a black 2013 F25 pre facelift 30d.

I'm curious if anybody knows how similar the fitments are for the new facelift bumper, lights and grill are?

I understand that to perform this you need to change the front bumper, the grill and headlights, but are they straight swaps or would it need bogging?

Has anybody swapped their pre facelift to a face lifted bumper and could tag me to their thread

Many thanks guys

This has been asked before on this forum and others. It was stated that although it is technically feasible, it was very expensive. The best option was to trade in the pre-lci and purchase the lci.

I am very surprised to see you ask this question. Why did you not shop around for the later lci model?

Could I ask. Did you swap over your front end? I see the new G01 has gone back to the gap between headlight and grille, the bigger grilles on the G01 look amazing. Were you just looking to freshen up the front end? If you did swap them, are you happy with the result?

Doing the same thing to my car. I got my xenons to work and my turn signals. Need to get angel eyes to work still. Adaptive wont work unless you change the FRM and ZGW, which is not worth it I think.

Yes, most of the wires are rearranged! high beam needs to be coded and errors coded away.
