Blue screen on top view camera

Hi all,

Our 2014 X3 top view camera passenger side(uk) wing mirror is showing as a blue screen
We have four cameras in total, front, rear and the two on the wing mirrors for top view. All working fine expect the one. It’s really annoying.

I have found on eBay a mint condition used camera that the owner says was taken from the drivers side wing mirror.

Does it matter what side the camera come from and also would it need coding or is it just a direct replacement for my existing ?

Lastly is there a how to replace the camera anywhere so that I can diy it?

I would not try to replace the camera, at least as the first step. Take the cap off of the mirror and check for disconnected or worn wires.

I guess it doesn’t cost to have a look first see if it’s anything obvious.
Thanks for your input. 👍

NBT is the version of NAV etc that was installed starting 2014 - at least in the US. I don't know where Tamworth is. It think it stands for something stupid like Next Best Thing.

Hey. Thanks for the reply. Tamworth is in the midlands in England. Not heard of NBT before.
