Yosemite Road Trip

Just finished a 1000 mile long road trip and camping trip to Yosemite. I was throughly impressed with the X3 w/ large engine. We were 4 people + lots of beer and camping equipment, so much so I purchased a BMW 320 roof box to fit the 3 tents, chairs, etc.

we averaged 75-80mph and saw 22mpg.

Car handled great considering it was FULLLLYYYY LOADED. People in the back seat were surrounded with bags and equipment. You couldn't fit a pencil in the gaps! The curvy roads were so fun and the freeway was smooth and quiet. Really really love this car!

I'm envious! What a great place. Fun roads, too. Glad it worked out well.
