Tire Pressure Gage
I am looking for recommendations on purchasing an "accurate" Tire gage. I have several and they all read different PSI. Any suggestions?

I use a Moroso gauge similar to 89560 model on Amazon for $43. Can't attest to its absolute accuracy but, more importantly, it seems to provide very repeatable readings to a half psi or so.
There are a lot of digital gauges out there and you can spend some big money (see Longacre temperature compensated gauges, for example) for a truly accurate gauge. I'm sure the F1 boys can recommend one in the thousands of dollars! I like the Moroso. It's well armored with a heavy rubber enclosure and has a bleeder valve so you can overfill the tire (slightly) and bleed off the excess to obtain a precise pressure. |

Caution on the digital gauges, they do not work when cold (twenties and lower - depending on the gauge).
Had to buy a standard rising stem gauge during first cold snap this winter because my whammydyne digital gauge would not work unless it remained warm. Even when I carried it outside from a warm interior, it cooled off so quickly it became unusable before I got to the second tire. Granted the temps were in the twenties or lower but the rising stem gauge worked perfectly, cost less, had no battery to go dead, and was 100% dependable. |

I bought one of these and then five more for gifts. No batteries required! Always works! Accurate, precise and agrees with my 0-40 psi $50 analog Moroso gauge and a bag full of digital gauges that are always in need of a new battery.

I have 2 Joe's Racing guages. They are well made and relatively cheap @ $22. Works great and feels like it will last a long time.
