SD M Sport vs D M Sport?

Hello,

From what I can see there's an acceleration difference between the 'D' and the 'SD' versions of the M Sport. But as they're not badged and it doesn't state either in the logbook, which data source do I trust? Adding the number plate into insurance quotes tells me it's the SD but no car documents say that.

Is there a way to tell from looking somewhere on the vehicle itself?

Thanks,

Steve

Mine says SD on the front wing by the side repeater.

My V5 also states SD

If its a manual gearbox its not an SD
