Stupid cat piss smell...

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
A cat must have pissed on my car recently, and I can smell cat piss IN the car, however it's definitely pronunced drive and I turn left (!)
I know, it sounds strange, but every time I turn left, the smell picks up.

It's definitely not IN the car, I have no cat (I'm partially allergic)...

I washed the car. Twice. Made sure the air intakes, and wheels were spotless. No change !

Anyone has a clue where it might be coming from?

cats tend to sleep near the engine on cold days. Do you part outside and was it cold out?

Well not saying this is what it is, but....the outside air intake is on the right side just below windshield. If some...er...fluid found its way down there it should drain off but unknown how quickly, etc. If one were to turn LEFT, and liquids would want to go RIGHT. Might not hurt opening up the fresh air intake, maybe replacing the filter in there and giving the whole area a cleaning/inspection.

Thanks for that, I'll have a look. I had assumed it would be coming from the ground, but perhaps the &£*"&$*£ climbed on the car too....

Try a couple of boxes of baking soda to help absorb the smell. Set one on the dash near where the smell comes from the most.
At least it's not skunk!?!

I am also getting a bad smell when you first turn on the AC or heat. Can someone explain how to change the air intake filter?
