The vents are not only real but are functionally an active part of EfficientDynamics.

This presenter DOES suck. Cars have come with leather for decades and he complains bout that? In a BMW?? Part where he's in passenger seat on the track felt so forced too.

Yeah Tomas the main presenter I really like on this channel. However recently all I hear from him are complaints about 'animal skin' in cars zzzzzz.

Easy to criticize when you're not the reviewer.

You obviously didn't watch the video. On this vehicle the vents are purely cosmetic and non functional. Stop spreading incorrect information.

Don't be a jerk!
The designer of the vehicle clearly states the vents are non functional design elements. I guess you missed that.

Just so everyone isn't confused... If you watch the video the designer clearly states the side vents are non functional decoration. They may be functional on a 4 Series, but here they are not.

Just so you can get off your high horse I do not agree. I might be wrong but until I see the wheel well first hand I believe it is done for more than a visual effect and either way we have to wait and see. Not the first time a presentation wasn't spot on.

I guess readers have a choice. Believe the designer of the vehicle; or believe someone that hasn't even seen the vehicle first hand. I choose the former.

You were so adamant about the fake vents being real, despite the designer clearly stating otherwise. The distribution of false information is what is wrong with forums like this one. You're misleading people! Too bad I can't be there the day you peek into the wheel well of one of these. Please respond back when you correct the record.

The goofball side vents on any BMW are 99.5% cosmetic at best. If they were truly beneficial, cars with much better air management would have them too.
