X3 Navigation Question

Hello Everyone,

In my previous BMW I had the original gen iDrive/NAV. One feature that I liked a lot was a list of the directions. I can't seem to find that with the new iDrive/NAV on the X3 35i. Am I overlooking where to find this? Or is it not offered?

From the Map screen, move the iDrive controller to the left twice, scroll down to Route Information, and push down on the controller. To return to the map, move the iDrive controller to the left, scroll up to Map, push down.

Easier way - push the voice command button and say "Route List". Pronounce it "root".

Now the voice command makes it real easy. Thanks for sharing.

I tried that today and it doesn't seem to recognize. However, when I yelled out 'Route Information' then it showed the route list. I guess its one and the same?

That might be correct. I confuse the older commands with the newer ones sometimes. Why they changed them, I have no idea.

Some Americans pronounce it "Rowt"... which the system doesn't recognize.

I thought you all pronounced it "Rowt" (to rhyme with "clout"). It does make more sense than "rowt" as that's how you pronounce clout, shout, pout, spout........

Yeah, i know, i know, it's

As Mr. Churchill put it, "two peoples, divided by a common language".
