Steering wheel controls & bluetooth audio?

Hey guys, I have a '13 X3 and I noticed that I cannot change tracks from the steering wheel controls when I'm streaming via bluetooth - I have to use the idrive controls. If I move the roller button on the steering wheel, it gives me the track title.

Right now, I have a 528i loaner which shows <--- and ---> when you move the steering wheel control and allows you to change tracks from the wheel when streaming via bluetooth (you roll it, then 'push' to select the forward/back arrows).

Am I correct that this is not possible in my X3? or am I missing something? Almost all the other controls are identical to my car.

Thanks,

Chris

Same thing actually in my 2011. I can't advance (or even go back) the tracks; can only scroll. Funny though, my '11 Z can advance/go back on the tracks. Weird.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one I suppose. It works for everything else, including if I connect via USB.

Kinda frustrating to know that it can do it, just not programmed to apparently.
