Awesome! I got 12mm in front and 17.5 in the rear of my m-sport. Spacers definitely make the x3 look much better!

Will spacers cause any damage in the long run? They look great but every thread I've read on spacers, everyone was split between them being bad or not.

Good question. I think there is no definite answer. I have had spacers (+22.5mm) on my Audi for 8 years without any issues. Furthermore my bmw dealership who installed my spacers told me that there will be no warranty problems. So I am inclined to think that spacers are ok especially if the offset is not to extreme. But this is all just my experience and opinion...
