AUC Sensor in f25

I have a 2016 f25 where the auc sensor isn't working, I've been trying to pull it out, but it just won't budge. I found these instructions but they're not all that helpful, does anyone know specifically how it works?

Trying to remove the AUC sensor and don't know how to work the retaining clip. Did you figure out? Any help is greatly appreciated.
