Hi all,

My 2011 F25 X3 xDrive28i had a minor accident. I'll have to replace the driver's side fender, and the genuine part is at least $350. I've found some aftermarket replacements on Amazon and eBay, they are less than $150.

In my point of view, the main risk would be fit (but I can always return it back) - however I've also noticed that they are quite heavy. Also the genuine fender weighs only 29 lbs, while those way around 80 lbs. I guess this may affect handling.

Any experiences or opinions?
