What's the best option for adding remote start to a BMW? I can ventilate you car through the connected drive app, but I don't have the option to heat it. It would be great to not get in a cold car every morning. Considering my neighbors with cheaper base model Chevys have remote start standard.

The X3 doesn't really have many options, and you have to give up a key to put one in.

It's not worth it IMO. I used to install starters professionally and still stay up to speed on what's out there, I do installs for friends/family/my own cars these days, and I haven't put one in mine. You can start it, leave with the key, and lock the door as well btw, it'll stay running.

Best way to heat up a vehicle anyway is to drive it, you'll save gas and improve engine life that way as well. If you're dead set on having one go to any install shop and they'll give you a quote.
