I've searched the forum but it doesn't seems like it was asked?

My '13 F25 is getting the red screen at the beginning of the cold start but will disappear in couple seconds - you could hear the speakins *starting or something. This is an example:

I've tried to hard reset the iDrive (15 seconds or so) but problem remains.

Additional note that may NOT be related - I had the multibox replaced in this car by BMW because the bluetooth was not working so they swapped the box.

Any thoughts on what the problem is and potential fix?! Thank you in advance.

Do you have an aftermarket back up cam out of curiosity? Mine did something similar when I first installed mine

Hi, no just the original. Wonder if the multimedia box could be related. BMW calls it COMBOX i.e https://www.bmwpartsdeal.com/parts-l...ms/combox.html

I’m getting this at the moment, trying to connect a Parrot Bluetooth kit to the car but I think the wiring harness is wrong as I get the red screen at startup and the radio dies completely after a couple of seconds.

Mine would do this sometimes if the battery was low. Replaced it with a new Interstate battery from Costco a few months back and haven’t seen it since.
