TPM malfunction

I'm trying to figure out why I'm getting a tpm malfunction on the I drive. It had been working fine, then it just started saying "tire pressure monitor malfunction". I doubt it's the sensors in the wheels because that would mean all four went bad at the same time.

I'm trying to locate where the central receiver is. Some models say trunk, others say fender. So far I can say the fuse 139 is good. I pulled it and started the vehicle and it still said same thing with no fuse.

The TPM control unit with integrated receiver is mounted in the outer
area of the luggage compartment well above the rear axle

Thanks! At least I know I'm in the right area. But I've taken all the lining out of the cargo area and the only thing I see that comes close is this thing: http://www.everythingmotoring.com/vehicle/parts/571881

Edit: and there is one on each side.

Bump: took to dealer for checking and they said "a transmitter in a rim has failed, and only way to find out which one it is, would be to break apart each rim and tire to test"

If that is the case, $hitty design BMW, $hitty design.
