Year end deals???

I'm currently shopping for an X3. I spoke briefly to the salesman today. He told me currently, there's a 3500 cash incentive toward all BMW's. He was able to locate the car I wanted.

2015 X3 xDrive28i M-sport, White w/ Mocha Nevada interior
Cold Weather
Premium
Lighting
Nav
Driver Assistance

MSRP $52500. With the cash incentive, it will be $49000.

I didn't negotiate w/ him yet, but I'd like to know how much lower I should push for. Maybe 7-8% off MSRP after the cash incentive?

Thanks in advance!

I got 7% off MSRP in October without any incentives, so you can do better. I'd there's really $3500 incentives, that should be additive to at least 6% off if I was negotiating, especially for something in inventory. In my opinion....

I imagine they might have to pay a transfer fee but you still negotiate where you buy....my target in your case would be at least $6K under MSRP if there really are those significant incentives.

From everything I could find there is no holiday cash or deals on any of the Xs

I just finalized my order yesterday.

$750 + MACO and Advertising Fee over Edmunds.com Invoice - any incentives that do come up between now and delivery in February will also be taken off.

This was 6% below MSRP, and I believe a fair deal.

If you can find a link to the $3500 off for X3s I would love to see it, and that would reduce my cost

But I think you should be able to get 6-7% off and then any incentives
(So the car you are looking at would be 48825 to 49350 - incentives)

Here in India, I was able to get Corporate Discount along with a year end deal. Roughly came up to 7K below the on-road price.

I didn't have a lot of choice on colors though, since most of the cars were selling like hot cakes. Also BMW India announced a Jan price hike of 5% and hence they were not assembling more cars for Dec 2014 to take advantage of the 5% hike

The X3 was excluded from BMW's now typical year-end credit which is up to $3500 depending on model. However they recently added a $1000 Happier Holiday credit which does apply to the X3:

You guys are right. I went to another dealership today. The salesman told me that the $3500 cash credit doesn't apply toward X3. For X3, they only offer $1000 cash credit.

The car is at the port w/ the specs I wanted except the interior wood trim. I prefer aluminum trim, but sat down to see what offer they would give me.

They offered me $49,000. MSRP $52300, and they will also pay off my current lease. I still have 4 payments left on my current lease totaling $1280.

So in other word, it's $47,720 if I don't have my trade in. That's about 7% off MSRP after 1000 incentive. The manager came to speak to me, and he will not go any lower.

I feel like this is not really a good deal, especially for the year end. I think if I order the car, I will still get the same deal.

MSRP $51025. Dealer offered $47180. Custom built for February delivery. Is it a good deal?

I would say that is a good deal (7.5% off MSRP)
