My beloved E83 got the weirdest "ding" today on my commute home I sat at a red light and this huge sewer tanker truck passes me on the left in the turn lane when I hear this "thonk" and then I see an open, flapping storage compartment door on the bottom level of the stupid truck hit the car in front of me. Of course that was after it had scraped the heck out of my left front fender. Luckily the truck driver noticed and was readily giving his companies insurance info. Still a pain in the rear, chasing the insurance company, getting an estimate from my body shop etc. The scrape may not look like much, but it extends into the front bumper and with all the labor amounts to $1200!
