Of the 3, I would pick oyster with dark wood, but think mojave with dark wood would be best. Looks like you've ruled that one out. But it should be what you like best.

Either #1 or #3 since they're both on opposite sides of the spectrum, you can't go wrong with that.
Black interior is more utilitarian, less likely to get dirty, easier to resell but may look drab in a sea of black interior; what is a two tone interior becomes only 1 depending on if you get the m-sport or not (anthracite headliner). Another thing to take into consideration is if you're going to tint your windows. Depending on what your state's laws are a black interior makes tinted windows look even darker when looking from the outside, which is a good thing for states that don't allow heavy tints. Oyster interior gives better contrast and depending on if you get m-sport or not it's a 2 tone or 3 tone interior. However it's more likely to get dirty and usually people are more likely to want a car with darker interiors than lighter ones so it might affect how easily you can sell your car. In terms of wood or aluminum trim both the fineline wave (darker one) and aluminum are both good choices and the fineline wave looks much better in person than in photos, I'm not a fan of the sienna (lighter one). |

#3, Oyster with Dark Wood. Oyster is 2 tone, the bottom part of the door paneling is black. Looks great.

I just wish I could see a good picture of white with mojave - maybe from the outside with the doors open. I am worried the brown on black won't look good and that the brown will be too drab inside.

Hadn't even considered it - saw it on a red convertible and it looked very red, but when I build it on the BMW website it's quite nice! Will go search for some pictures. Do you do wood or aluminium with it?

I have the Alpine white with the Oyster and the dark wood. Looks good. After I put my order in and walked through the show room they had a 328i with the brown interior and alpine. It looked very nice too. I also had my windows tinted and that just topped it off.

Flashy - my X3 is deep sea blue, but i really love the Mojave interior - i'm sure it will go great with white.

Today I saw an Alpine White with Nevada Chestnut leather, and it looks great.
At the end you should make the final decision based on what you like...it's a hard choice to make with all the Combos available..

I am so confused and supposed to submit my order this morning.
I hate dark, depressing cabins. If I had the sunroof and aluminium trim with the white stitching does the black seem light enough inside the car? Does the white stitching get filthy? If I had black all weather mats, would that look strange with the beige? Is oyster with a white car too washed out looking? |

I think I am going to go with the Oyster. It might look a little weird with the white exterior, but maybe the black/white contrast on the outside will look good with the black/white contrast on the inside.
Going to buy the dog car seat covers for sure though! Maybe never take the baby out of the house either! Can I buy some leather clean wipes and use them on the seats once a week or should I go with BMW's cleaner? |
