For a lease, the dealer told me the 2015 X3 has residual of 58% while the 2016 X3 has residual of 55%. The money factor is .00130.

I have a lease and need to get rid of it as it is over miles. I went with a basic model MSRP of $40k. $3000 due at signing and $544.35/mo with tax. How does this math add up? I have no idea.

I will be picking up in South Carolina in 6 weeks.

residuals seem about right, in fact the X3/X4 has around a 55% residual several months ago, they raise it to help promote sales towards the end of the model year... its a big difference when you think about it, on a $60K MSRP, that's an extra $1800 out of pocket! and if you are leasing model year doesn't really matter, especially when its not a LCI or remodel year.
