Checked the status on my 2012 X3 28i, and the status has changed to PRODUCTION BEGINS...for sure this will be my Xmas present!!!

Mine was completed 5 days after the, "production begins" status appeared, so there's a good chance you'll have yours within a week or two.

My current lease on my E90 ends in Nov. so I'm looking forward to the
X3...my CA is a friend of mine so I'm not sure what he did to make sure that the X3 gets built so quick.

Hey beto, the dealer put mine on order March 12th and I took delivery April 15th. Just note it takes about 1 week by train from S.C. and ends up in Oxnard, CA then trucked to your dealer. Just a suggestion if you are one of those people who like to do the post shipping prep yourself, DON'T, let the dealer do it. And bring a tire gauge with you to check the pressure.

I asked my CA not to wax my car. He wrote it down and 2 months later when I got my car there was no prep at all. Not sure if they all pay attention like that. My CA was great.
