Yes you can, but know that both vehicles will get messages such as when you send directions via google maps. I know from first hand experience.

Yes, I locked/unlocked successfully a couple of days before June 25th and today when trying to unlock I get an 'error during data transfer' message. All other functions work (horn, lights) and interestingly, I can still lock the car,... just not unlock it. How dumb is that?

What is the point of "pre condition"?.. does do anything but turn the fan on... no A/C.. at least on my X3...
Ticks me off that a Dodge can be started remotely and A/C running cool by the time you walk to your vehicle.

The point of it is to knock the cab temperature down from "OMG I can't breathe" hot to "holy crap" hot. It is valuable if it's been sitting in the sunny parking lot all day here in Florida. You should be able to relate being in Houston

I use it regularly. I've found that putting a sunshade in the front window helps the precondition to get the internal temp down to near outside temp. It works 2x as well with the sunroof cracked open (you can actually see the hot air being blown out the sunroof).
