Small fluid leak (some type of oil) can't find source 2016 35i
Hi guys,
I have a 2016 35i xdrive with about 100k miles. Everything is fully up to date as far as maintenance goes. I believe on the driver's side there is a pinhole oil leak somewhere. I've been under the vehicle (as much I could be) and used a powerful flashlight from above... I can't seem to find where it's leaking. Everything is super clean and dry. Possibly something leaks directly onto the ground when the oil/fluid is hot... It's weird that there is no visible signs under the hood. Any experience with something like this? Thanks!

So by you saying everything's up to date maintenance wise I'm going to assume that includes having replaced the ofhg gaskets, and having replaced the valve cover and gasket?
I ask because oil def. Leaks from both those sources way before 100k miles on a 35i... Hell I'd venture to argue that your oil pan gasket is seeping right now as well... |
