Check my deal on a new X3?
Is this a decent deal on a 2013 X3 x35i?
Negotiated deal: $796/mo (incl 7% state sales tax) 36 mo lease 15k/yr $0 down Specs: BSM paint Cold Weather I & II Premium Pkg Premium Sound Technology Pkg Sports Activity Pkg Destination ($895) Total Sticker $55,395 FYI - I feel that I have a very good relationship with this dealer. Great guys. This will be the fourth car from this dealer in the past 4 years (the most recent was ordered last month...2013 135is). Should I jump on this deal? I'm pretty sure the dealer won't go lower...I tried.

Sounds too expensive, if you consider the X3 35i's current lease special, it should be at least $70 cheaper per month.

Here's what I have gathered from the last snow we got here (and me getting stuck in my long driveway)... the "all wheel drive" is front wheel drive with an occasional transfer to the rear (but not enough power to actually move the car).
My front wheels were in deep snow, back wheels were on packed snow, front wheels spun (more specifically, right front wheel spun, left one once in a while when I turned the wheel), back wheels occasionally spun. DSC was off. Eventually rocked the car free after shoveling out. I miss my old Pathfinder that had a selector for 4-low (real 4 wheel drive, locked diff) that could move through anything. |

Always evaluate a lease deal as follows. Dollars above US Wholesale pricing. Then look look at the money factor. Are you getting the BMW Buy Rate without a mark-up? are you being a charged a lease fee by the dealer? Always check the math yourself. Stupid people always pay more.

Not sure, I have whatever came on the car (3.5 M sport). They are not winter tires for sure. I think they are 19" run flats.
I ended up in the wrong thread lol. But looking at the original post here... You could buy the car for a little more per month and a longer term. The price is too high. They should be able to drop it a few grand to closer to $52k. Look at it from a different perspective. The face lifted 14's are coming soon, and dealers will be begging to move the 13's. I'd shop around a little. I am not a fan of leasing but I understand why it works for some people. And FYI on the lease deals BMW promotes the hell out of as specials - they are usually 10k miles per year deals with 2k or 3k "cap cost reduction", and can't really be compared to a 15k miles / yr deal with $0 down. Apples and oranges. |

As far as leasing, the above deal definitely seem high for a 2013 X3. I am not a big fan of leasing either, but BMW has some really good leasing specials. The problem with leasing is that once you lease, you are kind of trap in to leasing car after car, or else going from leasing to buying can cost a whole lot of money. |
