Tire Dressing

This is not an ad, but when my X3-35i was delivered, the tire dressing on it did not sling and looked great for a few weeks after I took delivery. Best I ever saw. I coaxed out of the dealer that they used Lustro Rubber Dressing from Golustro.com. I bought a quart of this spray and will never use anything else again.

That's interesting to know however doesn't look like it is obtainable in the UK (a quick google search and I am getting latex rubber dresses

I wonder what UK dealers use?

I was a fan of grease lightning's tyre dressing which is a liquid that you apply with a sponge, nice results but had to wear about six pairs of gloves to stop the liquid making contact with my skin..... My dad bought me a spray can of tyre dressing from Morrisons that was on offer for £1.25. I said thanks and thought that I would never use it but gave it a try the other week and it lasted about 3 weeks, doesn't give the shine that grease lighting does but is very quick and easy to apply

I use a can of this and it stays on for a couple of washes - quiet impressed.

I bought Turtle Extreme NANO-Tech Bumper and Tyre shine for my black 1997 9000 Turbo 4 years ago, but even if paint is shiny, I didn't think it fit the car.

After discussion above and heavy rain today, I went out to garage, found my bottle and applied on my newly washed Carbon Black X4 - still 20" summer tyres.

It did the trick - very good result in only 3-4 minutes. No idea how long it will last, but I can spend 3-4 minutes extra when washing car to get the extra shine- not however on my 9000, which I still have.
