Convert wired Enet to wifi

I have wired enet cable. However phone app, such as bimmerlink used wifi or Bluetooth or USB. I tried my Ethernet to USB adapter, it did not work for some reason. How to convert wired enet to wifi? I have router, and I assume this can be done. But how?

Either get a bluetooth/wifi obd or just use e-sys. I don't believe using a router is going to work, but if you figure it out, I'd be interested in how

Ok, I was able to do this per https://github.com/uholeschak/ediaba...iFi_Adapter.md It worked with Bimmerlink and Bimmercode when set the adapter as modBMW.
