Just traded in my 2011 x3 with 17" wheels for a 2015 x3 28i with 19' wheels. Love the way SAV looks but the ride is a little stiff and hard. Anyone experience the ride difference between a 2015 with 19' and one with the stock 18' wheels? Could there be that much of a difference?

Have they both the same suspension setting

The difference between standard suspension (without run flats?) on 17s

And MSport suspension and run flats on 19s

Will be very different

The 19s can be very stiff and prone to being a bit "jiggly"

A lot of people going for 19s delete the sport suspension or add VDC

Both cars have the same suspension and the 17" were run flats.

Even so the different set up will have a marked effect on the ride/handling

The car on 19s will be stiffer and less comfortable than the same car on 17s

Do you think there is a big difference between the 19's and 18's? I only have 100 miles on car and I'm thinking of asking dealer to swap them for 18's.
